A South Florida native with Brazilian roots, Melissa is fluent in Portuguese and values the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida International University and is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.

Outside of her legal career, she enjoys making luxury candles, running a book club, and spending time with her Boston Terrier, Bentley.
